Mapping Westchester County

The Mapping Westchester County map service contains over 150 features such as environmental features, facilities and services, district boundaries, transportation features, census demographics and much more.

Mapping Westchester County - Base Map

Mapping Westchester County-Base Map map service includes several county base layers including municipal boundaries, public schools, train stations, lakes and parks.

Mapping Westchester County Base Map - Light

Light version of Mapping Westchester County.  Includes a only few county base layers.

Municipal Tax Parcels

This map service contains tax parcel boundaries covering Westchester County.

Digital Elevation Model

This data represents a Digital Elevation Model (DEM), or bare-earth elevation surface, of the County of Westchester, New York, in a grid where each grid cell is 3-meters (9.84 feet) by 3-meters. This grid was produced from LiDAR data acquired in spring, 2009.

Digital Surface Model

Digital Surface Model: a one-meter-resolution countywide raster created from spring-2009 LiDAR "first-returns". Enhanced with a shadowed "hillshade", uppermost surfaces of structures and landscapes are seen as 3-dimensional objects. The DSM can be used for planning and visualizations, for siting solar power installations, to analyze vegetation density, etc.

Environmental Features

Environmental Features: protected areas, sensitive features (soils, wetlands, slopes, etc.), and state- or federally-regulated activities (i.e., wastewater discharge), on a basemap elevation model.

Map Service for AutoCAD Users

This map service was created for AutoCAD users, such as engineers and surveyors. Detailed 2-foot contour lines and planimetric features such as buildings, paved surfaces (including sidewalks, parking lots, driveways and the edge of pavement) and street centerlines are included in this map service. Environmental features such as wetlands and soil type delineation can also be viewed using this map service.

Mapa de Westchester County (for Spanish users)

This map service was originally created for Spanish speaking users accessing the map service and using ArcGIS Explorer (Spanish Version) client software. The map service include the most frequently requested layers such as municipal halls, schools, libraries, hospitals and bus routes. All layer names have been translated into Spanish.
